Description

A quick and easy air fryer recipe for delicious homemade bread, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Ingredients

  • 3¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups buttermilk (or milk + 2 tbsp lemon juice, curdled for 5 mins)

Instructions

  1. 1. Sift together the flour and baking soda in a large mixing bowl and combine thoroughly.
  2. 2. Add buttermilk (or curdled milk mixture) to the dry ingredients and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. 3. Lightly flour a clean surface and fold the shaggy dough on itself about 4-5 times to shape it into a round loaf.
  4. 4. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and place the shaped loaf inside.
  5. 5. Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and air fry for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
  6. 6. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
