Instructions

  1. 1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast until well-blended.
  2. 2. Create a well in the center of the dry mix and pour in the warm water and olive oil. Stir until a rough dough begins to form.
  3. 3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Knead for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Shape the dough into a ball, place in an oiled bowl, and cover. Let it rise in a warm spot for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  5. 5. While the dough is rising, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop. Prepare the other fillings by dicing, slicing, and mixing.
  6. 6. After the dough has risen, punch it down, divide into six portions, and roll each into a 6-inch circle.
  7. 7. Place filling on half of each dough circle, fold over, and seal the edges.
  8. 8. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  9. 9. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 to 5 minutes.
  10. 10. Air fry for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  11. 11. Allow to cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.
