Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless (skinless) chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Flatten the chicken to an even thickness.
  2. 2. Dry brine the chicken (optional but recommended) with kosher salt and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. 3. Bring the chicken to room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Mix the spices: paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. 5. Oil and season the chicken with olive oil and the spice mixture.
  6. 6. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. 7. First cook the chicken, presentation side down for 6 minutes.
  8. 8. Flip the chicken and cook until the internal temperature registers between 155°F and 160°F (68°C to 71°C), about 2 to 8 additional minutes.
