A quick and delicious take on traditional Korean BBQ featuring tender, marinated chicken cooked in an air fryer.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/2 Korean pear (or apple/pear juice substitute)
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp avocado oil
1 tbsp gochujang (optional for spice)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
1. Marinate: Blend the Korean pear, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, avocado oil, and gochujang until smooth to create the marinade.
2. Coat the Chicken: Place chicken thighs in a bowl/bag and coat with the marinade. Marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat to 385°F.
4. Cook the Chicken: Place marinated chicken in the air fryer and cook for about 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
5. Sear for Perfection: After air frying, sear in a hot skillet until golden brown on both sides.
6. Finish Cooking: Add remaining marinade to skillet and cook on low for 8 minutes each side until fully cooked.
7. Garnish and Serve: Plate chicken and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
