Description

Crispy, warm slices of banana, perfectly caramelized with cinnamon and sugar, offering a deliciously simple way to enjoy a healthier dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 medium-sized ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (or melted butter)

Instructions

  1. 1. Peel the bananas and cut them into even, thin slices approximately 3 mm thick.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. 3. Lightly brush both sides of the banana slices with coconut oil or melted butter.
  4. 4. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over both sides of the banana slices.
  5. 5. Place the banana slices in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  6. 6. Set the air fryer to 150 °C (300 °F) and cook for 10-15 minutes, flipping midway through.
  7. 7. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
