Ingredients

  • 450g self-rising flour
  • 80g chilled, cubed butter
  • 250ml milk

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
  2. 2. Combine the self-rising flour and chilled, cubed butter in a bowl.
  3. 3. Rub the butter into the flour until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
  4. 4. Create a well in the mixture and pour in the milk, mixing gently.
  5. 5. Knead the dough sparingly on a floured surface until smooth.
  6. 6. Roll the dough to 2 cm thick and cut into rounds with a scone cutter.
  7. 7. Line the air fryer basket with baking paper and arrange the scones.
  8. 8. Cook for about 15 minutes until golden brown and hollow when tapped.
  9. 9. Serve warm with raspberry jam and whipped cream.
