Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups diced apples (peeled)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and stir in the brown sugar until smooth.
  3. 3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. 4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. 5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. 6. Fold in the diced apples and chopped pecans.
