Ingredients
2 pound ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
10-12 slices bacon
2 pound potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet or prepare a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, milk, Parmesan, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet or in the loaf pan. Lay bacon slices over the top of the meatloaf.
4. Bake for about 1 hour or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F.
5. While the meatloaf bakes, prepare the garlic mashed potatoes. Boil cubed potatoes until fork tender, about 15 minutes.
6. Drain the potatoes, return them to the pot, and add minced garlic, butter, and milk or cream. Mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper and stir in parsley if desired.
