Description

Deliciously crispy Baked Broccoli Cheese Balls that are cheesy on the inside and a healthier twist on classic cheese balls.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets (steamed and chopped)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. Steam the broccoli until tender-crisp, about 3 to 5 minutes. Cool and finely chop.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped broccoli, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and flour. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
  4. 4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. 5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Optionally, broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes for extra crispiness.
  6. 6. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with marinara or ranch dip.
