Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup (120 ml) melted unsalted butter
  • ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups (180 g) all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup (80 g) brown sugar (for filling)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (for filling)
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) milk (for glaze)
  • 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar, sifted (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment.
  2. 2. Mash bananas in a large bowl, then stir in melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until combined.
  3. 3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Add to the banana mixture slowly, folding gently until dough forms.
  4. 4. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling in a small bowl.
