Ingredients

  • 6 slices frozen garlic cheese Texas toast
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 12 ounces thinly shaved cheesesteak meat (steak or roast beef)
  • 3 slices provolone cheese
  • 3 slices mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil and butter, as needed

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen garlic cheese Texas toast. Bake the bread until golden and crispy, then let it cool slightly.
  2. 2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced bell peppers and sliced onions, sauté until tender, seasoning with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, cook the thinly shaved cheesesteak meat until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then transfer to a plate.
