Description

Hearty stuffed peppers filled with a flavorful mixture of beef, rice, and spices, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. 3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper with the cooked beef.
  5. 5. Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers and place them upright in a baking dish.
  6. 6. If desired, sprinkle cheese on top.
  7. 7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. 8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the peppers are tender and cheese is bubbly.
  9. 9. Serve hot.
