Black Beans and Rice with Sausage

Description
A hearty and flavorful dish that combines black beans, rice, and sausage for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
1 cup black beans, cooked
1 cup rice
2 sausages, sliced (chorizo or your choice)
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, diced
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
Chopped cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions
1. In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and garlic until translucent.
2. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned.
3. Stir in the bell pepper, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, cooking for a few more minutes.
4. Add the cooked black beans, rice, and broth to the pot.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover.
6. Cook for about 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
7. Fluff with a fork, garnish with cilantro if desired, and serve.
