Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup bourbon infused barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a nonstick surface.
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, barbecue sauce, bourbon, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. 3. Gently fold in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. 4. Lightly wet your hands and shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs.
  5. 5. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
