Description

A fresh and cheesy bruschetta dip that impresses guests with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 French baguette, sliced and toasted

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, finely chopped red onion, minced garlic, and freshly chopped basil. Drizzle in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper. Stir everything together until well-combined.
  2. 2. Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly in the bottom of a shallow baking dish. Spoon the tomato mixture over the cheese, then cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. 3. Slice the French baguette and toast the slices until crispy. Arrange the toasted bread around the chilled Bruschetta Dip or serve it on the side for easy dipping.
