Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the rigatoni pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Season the steak tips generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Ensure it’s hot before adding the steak.
  4. 4. Add steak tips and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and desired doneness is reached. Remove and set aside.
  5. 5. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, incorporating browned bits from the steak.
  6. 6. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. 7. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. 8. Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, plus a pinch of Cajun seasoning. Whisk until melted and thick.
  9. 9. If too thick, add a splash of pasta water or milk to adjust consistency.
  10. 10. Add cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss until well coated with sauce.
  11. 11. Return steak tips to the skillet, toss to combine, slice if desired, and garnish with parsley.
  12. 12. Serve hot.
