Description

A delightful dessert combining rich chocolate brownies with creamy cheesecake, drizzled with luscious caramel.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of brownie mix (plus additional ingredients as directed on package)
  • 24 ounces (three 8-ounce packages) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Whipped cream (for serving)
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. 3. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. 4. Bake the brownies according to the package instructions and let them cool completely.
  5. 5. Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
  6. 6. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  7. 7. Add vanilla, eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream, blending until completely smooth.
  8. 8. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie base and drizzle half of the caramel sauce over it.
  9. 9. Use a knife to swirl the caramel into the cheesecake batter.
  10. 10. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  11. 11. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for about an hour.
  12. 12. Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  13. 13. Serve garnished with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and chocolate shavings.
