Indulgent quesadillas filled with juicy steak, crispy bacon, and rich garlic butter, creating a perfect weeknight dinner or late-night snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 lb steak (seasoned and cooked)
  • 4 slices crispy bacon (cooked and chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the seasoned steak for 2–3 minutes per side until medium-rare; rest and slice thinly.
  2. 2. Cook bacon in the same skillet until crisp, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. 3. Return skillet to medium heat, melt garlic butter and warm the skillet.
  4. 4. Place one tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half of the cheese on it, then layer the steak and bacon. Top with remaining cheese and cover with the second tortilla.
  5. 5. Cook for about 3–5 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3–5 minutes until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. 6. Remove from skillet, let rest for 1–2 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
