Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. 3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. 4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
