Description
A quick and creamy comfort food dish featuring beef and pasta shells simmered in a luscious sauce.
Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup medium pasta shells
1 cup heavy cream
1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups low-sodium beef broth
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook, breaking up the beef, until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Pour the beef broth into the skillet and stir in the Italian seasoning. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Gradually stir in the heavy cream and simmer on low for another 5 minutes until thickened.
5. Fold the cooked pasta shells into the creamy beef mixture, coating each shell in the sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
6. Transfer to plates or bowls, garnish with extra Italian seasoning if desired, and serve hot.
