Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2-3 tbsp butter
  • 2-3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 4 oz cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. 2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute to create a roux. Gradually pour in the milk, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens.
  3. 3. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the cheddar, mozzarella, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
