Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  3. 3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. 4. Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. 5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
