Create a Comforting Slow Cooked Ham Potato Bake at Home!

Description
A cozy and cheesy dish that’s perfect for feeding a crowd with minimal effort, using leftover ham and pantry staples.
Ingredients
2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and diced
2 cups pre-cooked ham, diced
1 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon fine salt
1/4 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons butter, for greasing
Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
1. Grease the inside of your slow cooker with butter or non-stick spray.
2. Add the diced potatoes to the bottom of the slow cooker and top with the diced ham.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined. Pour this mixture over the potatoes and ham.
4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours until the potatoes are fork-tender.
5. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the softened cream cheese until melted and evenly distributed.
6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the top, cover, and cook for another 20 to 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley or sliced green onions if desired and serve warm.
