Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-2 tbsp sriracha (to taste)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. 2. Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. 3. Slowly add plant-based milk to dry ingredients, stirring until smooth and lump-free.
  4. 4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, coat with breadcrumbs, and shake off excess batter.
  5. 5. Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, spray with olive oil, and air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. 6. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, minced garlic, and sriracha in a bowl to make the sauce.
  7. 7. Toss wings in the spicy sesame garlic sauce after frying until fully coated.
  8. 8. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
