Description
Delightful crispy quark balls with a soft interior, perfect as a snack, dessert, or breakfast treat.
Ingredients
250g magere Quark (lean quark)
250g Dinkelmehl 630 (spelt flour)
2 teaspoons baking powder
50g full cane sugar
2 eggs
100g butter (for coating)
50g sugar (for coating)
2 packets vanilla sugar (for coating)

Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the quark balls and mix until combined.
2. Prepare your air fryer with parchment paper in the basket.
3. Shape small amounts of dough into balls and place them in the air fryer basket, spaced apart.
4. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F) and bake for 8 minutes.
5. Flip the quark balls and bake for an additional 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
6. Melt butter in a saucepan. In a bowl, combine remaining sugar and vanilla sugar.
7. Brush the baked quark balls with melted butter and roll them in the sugar mixture.
8. Enjoy warm or cooled.
