Description

Perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside yet fluffy within, these crispy roast potatoes elevate any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary (or any herb of your choice)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the potatoes by washing them thoroughly and cutting into even-sized chunks.
  2. 2. Parboil the potatoes in salted water for about 10 to 15 minutes until edges begin to soften.
  3. 3. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C), then toss parboiled potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Spread potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 30 to 40 minutes, turning halfway through until golden and crispy.
  5. 5. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving hot.
