Description
A flavorful, tender Mongolian beef dish cooked effortlessly in a crockpot.
Ingredients
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 inch fresh ginger, grated
1 scallion, chopped (plus more for garnish)
½ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
⅓ cup brown sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
¼ cup water
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions
1. Toss the sliced steak with cornstarch until evenly coated.
2. Add steak, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil, sesame oil, and water to the crockpot.
3. Stir to combine, then cover and cook on low for 240-300 minutes or high for 120-180 minutes, until the beef is tender.
4. Stir in scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
5. Garnish with extra scallions and sesame seeds if desired.
