Description

A delicious combination of bacon cheeseburgers and pizza rolls, these handhelds are perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough (about 13.8 oz)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and cooking spray.
  2. 2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. 3. Add diced onions and cook until softened, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix the cooked beef and onions with bacon, cheeses, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and seasonings.
  5. 5. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, then cut it into smaller rectangles (approximately 4×6 inches).
  6. 6. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dough piece and roll tightly, sealing the edges.
  7. 7. Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. 8. Let cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.
