Description

These Flaky Pepperoni Pizza Rolls are easy to make and perfect for any snack attack or party. They are filled with gooey cheese and pepperoni, wrapped in flaky puff pastry.

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry (about 14.1 ounces)
  • 4 ounces pepperoni slices
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 large egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets slightly to smooth them.
  3. 3. Evenly spread the pizza sauce over each sheet of puff pastry.
  4. 4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, Italian herbs, and garlic powder over the sauce.
  5. 5. Roll each sheet tightly into a log and slice into 1-inch pieces.
  6. 6. Whisk egg with milk and brush over each roll.
  7. 7. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
