Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then brown them on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  2. 2. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. 3. Stir in Dijon and whole grain mustard, then add the chicken broth.
  4. 4. Bring to a simmer, then stir in the heavy cream. Return the chicken to the skillet.
  5. 5. Cover and cook on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
