Description

Crispy and tender fried potatoes that are perfect as a side dish or topped with savory ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 500g potatoes
  • 100g bacon (optional)
  • 1 onion (optional)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter or oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  2. 2. If using, dice the bacon and chop the onion.
  3. 3. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. 4. Add sliced potatoes to the skillet and fry for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. 5. If using bacon and onion, add them during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  6. 6. Season the fried potatoes with salt and pepper before serving.
