Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. 2. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes until just pink and opaque. Remove and set aside, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt remaining butter. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Deglaze with wine (or broth) and simmer for 1–2 minutes. Add heavy cream and red pepper flakes, simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened. Adjust seasoning.
  4. 4. Return shrimp to skillet, toss gently in the garlic cream, then transfer to the baking dish.
  5. 5. Mix breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan and sprinkle evenly over the shrimp and sauce.
  6. 6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the top is golden. Optionally broil for 1–2 minutes for extra browning.
  7. 7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
