Description

A warm and comforting one-pan supper featuring ground beef, tender orzo, and fresh spinach in a rich tomato-broth base, topped with cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. 3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add the orzo and cook according to package instructions, about 8–10 minutes.
