Description

A comforting ham casserole that transforms leftover ham into a cheesy and hearty dish perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced leftover ham
  • 1 cup cheesy rice mix
  • 1 cup shredded cooked chicken
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • Optional vegetables (bell peppers, peas, or carrots)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced ham, cheesy rice mix, shredded chicken, broccoli, and any optional vegetables.
  3. 3. In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup with milk until smooth.
  4. 4. Pour the creamy mixture over the ham and vegetable blend, stirring gently to coat.
  5. 5. Grease a casserole dish and transfer the mixture into it, spreading evenly.
  6. 6. Top generously with cheese.
  7. 7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. 8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
