Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, cooked sausage)
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • Italian seasoning, optional

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until about a quarter-inch thick.
  3. 3. Cut the dough into squares, approximately 4-6 inches each.
  4. 4. Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce on one half of each square, sprinkle mozzarella cheese, and add desired toppings.
  5. 5. Fold the other half of the square over the filling, press the edges to seal, and optionally crimp with a fork.
  6. 6. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
  7. 7. Bake for 15-20 minutes on a lined baking sheet until golden brown and puffed.
  8. 8. Cool slightly before serving.
