Description

Delightful homemade dumplings that can be filled with savory ground pork and vegetables, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix the flour with hot water and knead until smooth. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. In another bowl, combine ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to make the filling.
  3. 3. Roll the dough into small circles. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each wrapper.
  4. 4. Fold the circles in half and pinch the edges to seal them.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and arrange the dumplings in a single layer.
  6. 6. Add a small amount of water to the pan and cover to steam for about 5-7 minutes.
  7. 7. Remove the lid and allow to fry until crispy on the bottom.
  8. 8. Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
