Ingredients

  • 1 lb button mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Clean and slice the mushrooms; pat dry.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
  4. 4. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  5. 5. Dredge mushrooms in seasoned flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. 6. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet until hot.
