Ingredients
1 cup warm milk
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 large apples, chopped
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2. Mix in melted butter, remaining sugar, salt, and eggs. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for 6–8 minutes until smooth, then place in a greased bowl to rise for 1 hour.
4. Prepare the apple filling by mixing chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the softened butter, then sprinkle the apple mixture on top.
6. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake rolls for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
8. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze.
9. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve immediately.
