Jacket Potato in the Air Fryer

Description

Enjoy perfectly cooked jacket potatoes with crisp skin and fluffy insides, made quickly and conveniently in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 4 Jacket Potatoes (about 290g each or 10.2 oz)
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Select even-sized Russet or Idaho potatoes.
  2. 2. Wash the potatoes under running water and pat them dry.
  3. 3. Prick several holes around each potato using a fork.
  4. 4. Drizzle potatoes with oil and sprinkle with salt, rubbing it into the skin.
  5. 5. Microwave the potatoes for about 5-6 minutes (optional).
  6. 6. Transfer the potatoes to the air fryer basket and set at 200°C (400°F) for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
  7. 7. Check for doneness by inserting a knife or fork into the center.
  8. 8. Let the potatoes rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
