Delicious low-carb mozzarella sticks, crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, perfect for snacking.
Ingredients
6 mozzarella sticks (200g), halved
1 large egg, beaten
½ cup (56g) almond flour
½ cup (45g) grated Parmesan cheese
1–2 tbsp (7–14g) coconut flour
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp garlic powder
2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
1. Prep Cheese: Cut the mozzarella sticks in half and place them in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
2. Breading Station: In one bowl, beat the egg. In another, mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, coconut flour, sea salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
3. Coat Sticks: Dip each frozen mozzarella stick into the beaten egg, then roll it in the flour mixture. For a thicker crust, repeat this step.
4. Freeze Again: Lay the breaded sticks on a tray and freeze for another 30 to 60 minutes.
5. Cook: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a frying pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes or fry until golden brown.
