Ingredients
4 bone-in pork chops
2 slices bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

Instructions
1. In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Marinate the pork chops for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
2. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Grill the pork chops for 4-6 minutes per side or pan-sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Then transfer to a preheated oven at 375°F to finish cooking until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
4. In a saucepan, melt the butter, whisk in flour to create a roux, and cook for 1 minute.
5. Gradually add the milk and heavy cream while whisking to prevent lumps.
6. Stir in Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Simmer gently for 1 minute.
7. Serve the pork chops topped with the creamy sauce and crumbled bacon.
