Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken (breasts or thighs)
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups carrots, cut into sticks
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. 4. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt, coating the chicken.
  5. 5. Pour the maple mixture over the chicken and add the carrots around it.
  6. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the carrots are tender.
