Ingredients
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thinly
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil, for searing
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
8 oz pasta (such as penne, rigatoni, or fettuccine)
Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, add it to the skillet, and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for about 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
5. Return cooked chicken to the skillet, add cooked pasta and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well to coat everything in the sauce.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
