Description

This one pan dish features seared steak bites in a sweet and spicy honey garlic sauce with creamy fettuccine, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 8 ounces fettuccine or your favorite pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup reserved pasta water (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Pat the steak cubes dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak cubes for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. 4. Stir in honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and beef broth. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. 5. Cook fettuccine in salted water until al dente, then drain and save 1/4 cup of cooking water.
  6. 6. Add heavy cream and smoked paprika to the skillet, simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  7. 7. Toss in Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  8. 8. Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet and coat with sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed.
  9. 9. Return steak to skillet, toss gently to warm through.
  10. 10. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan before serving.
