Instructions

  1. 1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl: flour, oats, baking soda, and sea salt.
  2. 2. Prepare the rosemary by plucking the leaves, chopping most of them, and blending with the flour mixture.
  3. 3. Create a well in the center of the dry mixture.
  4. 4. Add the egg and buttermilk (or yogurt) to the well and mix thoroughly with a fork.
  5. 5. Knead the dough until it takes shape, roughly a couple of minutes.
  6. 6. Incorporate cheese cubes into the dough.
  7. 7. Shape the dough into a round ball and then press to form a flat bread about 3 cm thick.
  8. 8. Top with oats and a sprinkle of sea salt, pressing lightly.
  9. 9. Make a deep crosswise cut on top.
  10. 10. Place in the air fryer basket and set to 180°C for 20 minutes.
  11. 11. After 20 minutes, rub remaining rosemary with olive oil and sprinkle it on the bread, then air fry for an additional 10 minutes.
  12. 12. Remove, let cool on a wire rack, and serve warm.
