Delightful red velvet crinkle cookies that are soft, chewy, and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon red food coloring

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another large bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until combined.
4. Add the egg, vanilla extract, milk, and red food coloring, and mix until smooth.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
7. Scoop the dough and roll into balls, then roll each ball in powdered sugar until well coated.
8. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
9. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
