Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. 3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. 4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. 5. In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
