Description

A warm and hearty slow cooker soup filled with chicken, vegetables, and egg noodles, perfect for comfort on busy days.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Place the chicken, chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker.
  2. 2. Cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. 3. Remove the chicken and shred it, then return it to the slow cooker.
  4. 4. About 30 minutes before serving, add the egg noodles and cook until tender.
  5. 5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
