Spicy Tuna Rice Balls are a fun and tasty snack packed with flavor, perfect for sharing with friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 3 tablespoons Kewpie mayo
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
  • Roasted seaweed sheets (nori)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, Kewpie mayo, sriracha, and salt until well combined.
  3. 3. Once the rice is cooked, allow it to cool slightly. Wet your hands to prevent sticking, then take a small amount of rice and flatten it in your hand.
  4. 4. Place a spoonful of the tuna mixture in the center, then mold the rice around it to form a triangle shape.
  5. 5. Wrap each onigiri with a strip of nori and sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
  6. 6. Serve immediately or pack for a picnic.
