Description

A delightful and sweet treat perfect for breakfast or dessert, featuring flaky pastry, creamy filling, and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry (2 sheets)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup warm strawberry jam or vanilla glaze (for topping)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut each sheet into squares.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. 4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square, then top with a few slices of fresh strawberries.
  5. 5. Fold the corners of the pastry squares towards the center and pinch to seal.
  6. 6. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
